Makeup Artist Johannesburg
Cleo Robyn
Thank you for considering Vowed for your Special day!

I'm Cleo, and I wear multiple hats to run Vowed.

I've been a qualified Makeup Artist for going on 10 years, and each year has brought different levels of excitement and challenges.

I usually read the room and vibe off my client's energy, although I'm somewhat of an ambivert - I would say an introvert for the most part, which is why I enjoy working one on one with my clients so much.

I try not to take anything too seriously, but when it comes to my businesses, I am very passionate about providing an excellent service to my clients.

I also make sure to stay up to date with the latest innovative beauty and trends by attending masterclasses or online webinars.

The aim of Vowed is to make your Wedding Day and the days leading up to it stress free and enjoyable, then providing you with a makeup look that focuses on elevating your natural features and making you feel like the best version of yourself.

I specialize in creating makeup that sculpts and enhances facial features, and prefer using cruelty free or vegan and hypoallergenic makeup products from quality brands.

All of my brides will also be treated with :

- Vowed 7 Step Skin Prep as part of a mini facial before your makeup.

- Complimentary False Lashes to enhance your makeup look

- A touch up kit gifted to you on the day

- Timeline prep for your wedding day

- Step by step notes to prep you for every step of your bridal makeup experience

 - 1.5 - 2 hours set aside for your makeup. This is to make us both feel more comfortable and unrushed; this also allows time for us to chat, although a silent appointment option is also offered in case you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed on the day.

Officially Certified

I received my certification from The Makeup Issue and immediately threw myself into practicing on friends and family with new techniques as I only learnt the basics and always held high standards for myself.

The Journey♡

2015

It took you two years?!

Fast forward to 2015, I took on my first paying client. I had just missed out on my first bride due to my lack of business knowledge and contracts in place. I also got my first makeup job at CNBC doing makeup for news anchors.
